In Loving Memory of Vera Ortega
Vera Ortega was born on March 18, 1928, and was raised in Riverside, California. She was the youngest of seven children and grew up alongside her three brothers and three sisters.
Vera married Bernardino “Benny” Ortega, and together they were blessed with five children: Benny, Raymond, Victoria (Vicky), Michael, and Edward (Eddie).
Vera loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and great-great-great-grandchild. Her home was always the gathering place for family, filled with love, laughter, and togetherness. She was the rock of the family — a source of strength, guidance, and unwavering love. She c herished her family and friends deeply and found her greatest joy in being surrounded by those she loved.
Vera passed away on February 14, 2026, surrounded by her family. She is reunited in Heaven with her Lord and Savior, her beloved husband, Bernardino, and her sons Benny, Raymond, and Eddie.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Victoria (Vicky) and Michael, as well as her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great- great-grandchildren, great-great-great-grandchild, extended family members, and dear friends.
Vera will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love will live on through the generations she helped raise.
