Rosie Lena Archuleta departed this life on March 24, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on February 21, 1948, in Riverside, California, Rosie was a lifelong resident of the city she adored, and it was in this familiar embrace of home that she peacefully passed away.
Rosie's journey through life was marked by an enduring love story with her husband, Bill Archuleta, who preceded her in life after 55 wonderful years together. Their bond was a testament to commitment and joy, which they bestowed upon their children, Will Archuleta, Genarose Roldan (married to Rudy), and Connie Archuleta (partnered with Adrian). Rosie's legacy of love and wisdom is carried on through her children, who remember her as the heart of their family.
A sister to many, Rosie was the Loving sibling of Jennie, Sandra (married to Frank), Ruby, Stella, Lupita (married to George), Carl, Felicia (married to Jose), and Janina (married to Rudy). She was preceded in departure by her sister Eleanor and brothers Cesar, Paul, and David.
Rosie was a beloved grandmother and great grandmother. She also held a special place in the hearts of her many nieces and nephews. Her family was her pride, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to their happiness and well-being.
Rosie found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was known for her love of casinos and camping trips as well as being an avid fan of her favorite game and TV shows (watching Stump Mark was her favorite) which brought her much delight and entertainment.
Dancing was a passion for Rosie, especially when shared with her husband, Bill. Together, they graced many dance floors with their presence, creating a rhythm and harmony that mirrored their life partnership.
The words that best describe Rosie are loving, selfless, and caring. Her love knew no bounds, and she gave of herself freely to all who were fortunate enough to cross her path.
Rosie Archuleta leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire and guide her family and all who knew her. Her spirit, though no longer present in body, remains a vibrant and loving force in the lives of her loved ones.
Her journey on earth has ended, but the impact of her life will be felt for generations to come. Rosie will be deeply missed, yet her spirit will forever dance in the hearts of those she touched.
