Robert Wayne Strawbridge was born on August 24, 1948 in Riverside, California and was called to be with the Lord Jesus on October 27, 2021 in Loma Linda, California.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. From his first marriage, he leaves behind his ex-wife, Maria G. Guerrero, and children, Maria Dippold, Rosaura Guerrero, and Michelle Strawbridge. His grandchildren, Joseph Ram, Perjah Guerrero, Makayla Ram, Alyssa Scott, Justin Dippold, and Jacob Dippold. His great-grandchildren, Maddison Ram, Ava Ram, Azra Amour Garcia, and Jessie David Campbell, Jr. (due in April 2022).

From his second marriage, he leaves behind his wife, Vera Strawbridge, and children, Victoria Robles and Michael Strawbridge. His grandchildren, Jose Robles, Ralph Robles, Jr., Savannah Robles, and Lisa Marie Robles. Robert also leaves behind his siblings, Susan Jones, Jim Strawbridge, and John Strawbridge.

We will remember Robert Wayne Strawbridge for being so committed to being a provider for his huge family. He loved working at General Hospital as a Chef and later retired from Riverside Regional after 34 years. He was a hard-worker and a team player. He hardly ever missed a day of work. He was a bright light at work and wherever he went. Some of his hobbies were Karate, swimming, fishing, grilling, and watching his favorite TV shows (Star Trek, Western shows, Elvira, and Bruce Lee movies). Robert’s love, devotion and sacrifices for his family will stay in our hearts forever. Robert made our lives a great blessing that only the great hand of God could have designed.

His viewing will take place at Rubidoux Mortuary from 10am-12pm on November 9, 2021. His burial site ceremony will follow at CrestLawn Memorial Park at 1:00pm.
