Raymond Jack Urias, a soul so grand,
Born in Fullerton, on California's golden land.
In seventy-four, the world did gain,
A man of humor, wisdom, a life not lived in vain.
In Riverside's embrace, he took his final rest,
On September's ninth, in two thousand twenty-four, the west.
His journey's cause unknown, yet his legacy profound,
In the hearts of those he loved, his memory will ever be found.
For over a dozen years, at the car wash, he stood tall,
Maintaining machines with care, he was beloved by all.
The hum of the motors, the splash of the suds,
Raymond's handy work, preventing any duds.
His daughter, Jaclyn Urias, was his shining light,
In her laughter and her love, he found pure delight.
A family man, sturdy and true,
His love, a perennial stream, forever in view.
Raymond loved his car, it was his pride,
Cleaning it with joy, music by his side.
For a clear mind, he'd take a drive,
On open roads, he felt alive.
Funny was he, with a joke always near,
His laughter was contagious, it was so clear.
Handy, with tools he danced a graceful ballet,
Fixing and tinkering, in his own special way.
Wise, oh so wise, with a word just right,
Guiding us gently, through day and through night.
His wisdom, a beacon, a guiding star,
Illuminating paths, both near and far.
So here's to Raymond, a man of great cheer,
Whose presence was a gift, we hold so dear.
In rhymes, we remember, in verses, we smile,
For he made every moment, truly worthwhile.
In Fullerton's dawn, a life did commence,
In Riverside's sunset, it passed the fence.
But between the rise and set of his sun,
Raymond Jack Urias, made his run.
A run filled with laughter, work, and play,
A tapestry of moments, woven each day.
Now, as we bid farewell, to our dear friend,
We know his journey's not at an end.
For in our hearts, his memory will stay,
Guiding us, loving us, every single day.
Raymond, oh Raymond, you've left your mark,
Your light, forever, shall shine in the dark.
