A LIFE LIVED !!
Paulette Helena DeBarros was born on October 8, 1955, in Cape Cod, MA to Amos and Clara DeBarros and passed away unexpectedly at her home in San Bernardino, CA on February 13, 2026 at the age of
70. Paulette is survived by her son Clifford Montgomery, daughter-in-law Courtney Montgomery, granddaughters Caliyah and Cevyn Montgomery, her siblings Dana, Joey, Cathy, Jeanette, Ferria, Petey, Arnie and Paula, as well as dozens of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Paulette was the youngest of thirteen children, including her twin who was two days older than her. Growing up in a big family shaped Paulette into the wonderful woman everyone knew. Full of laughter, warmth, and a spirit that could brighten even the heaviest of days. Her laugh was unforgettable, contagious and comforting all at once.
Paulette was generous with her time, her heart, and even her favorite snacks. She found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved visiting the casino, spending time with her family and friends and enjoying the sounds of The Whispers along the way. Those small moments brought her happiness, and she never hesitated to share that joy with others.
Above all, Paulette's greatest love was her family. She adored her son, treasured her grandchildren, and held her entire family close to her heart. Being a mother and grandmother was her proudest accomplishment and her deepest joy. She celebrated every milestone, offered unconditional support, and created a life filled with love, laughter, and comfort.
Though her passing was sudden and far too soon, the love she poured into the world remains. Her laughter echoes in family stories, her kindness lives on in the hearts she touched, and her memory will forever be a blessing to those who knew her.
Paulette leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, humor, and generosity. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
