Mark Allen Anderson, “Mookie”, age 63, passed away early on the morning of October 11, 2023 at his home, surrounded by his loved ones. Mark was born in San Bernardino, California and lived his entire life in the San Bernardino area. Mark attended San Bernardino Schools and graduated from Pacific High School Class of 1978. Mark is survived by his wife Darla, daughters Heather (Joshua), Marci (Larry) and Marissa (Fabian), his grandchildren, Justin, Savannah and Eric. He is also survived by his brothers Mike(Liza) and Kevin (Elsa), and his Great Aunt, Betty Jo Romano, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. Mark spent his entire working career as a health care provider and for the last 22 years was employed at Riverside Community Hospital as a nurse, where he was nicknamed “The Candy Man”. Mark will be remembered for his unselfish desire to step in and help whenever there was a need. Mark loved to garden and was proud of his crop and shared it with others during the year. Mark was a big fan of the Green Bay Packers and was usually seen wearing their attire. Mark was a member of the Native Sons of the Golden West, Inland Baseball Officials Association, Inland Football Officials Association, a Red Coat member of The San Bernardino Chamber of Commerce. Services will be held on Monday, October 30th at Rubidoux Mortuary at 10:30 am.
