Celebrating the Beautiful Life of Maria Munoz
11/29/1929 - 4/22/2022
Maria Munoz was born on November 29th, 1929, in Rio Grande, Zacatecas. On the Friday morning of April 22nd, 2022, at 92 years old, God called Maria Munoz home. Maria is preceded in death by her husband Fernando Munoz, her mother Eduarda Vaca, and sister Ruth Rodriguez. Together, Maria and Fernando celebrated 53 years of marriage. Maria is survived by her four daughters and one son: Rosie Cisneros, Nina Munoz, Ortensia Palmer, Mike Munoz, Teresa Munoz and a beautiful legacy of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended and adapted family-as she was Grandma Mary to all.
Maria Munoz was a homemaker who dedicated her life to raising, loving, and caring for her beloved family. Maria loved tending to her garden, especially her flowers. Outdoor beauty and family was her happy place, movies were her cuddle place. On any given day, you could find her doing her daily devotions and prayers in her garden. Maria was her family’s best cheerleader and prayer warrior. You could always count on her to share her heart, thoughts, and sass freely. Maria was a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Her family was the center of her world. Her home cooked meals and their legacy always brought us together and always will.
Please join us in honoring and celebrating the life of Maria Munoz. We welcome all those far and near to participate together with our family or independently all or any activities that remind you of our Beloved, Maria Munoz
