Luis Carlos González Jr., lovingly known as Mijo, Jr., Tío, Bro, and Pelón, passed away on October 17, 2025, at the age of 39 in Riverside, California.
Luis was forever a kid at heart — intelligent, kind, funny, and full of life. His adventurous and spontaneous spirit led him to live as a true nomad, finding beauty and joy wherever he went. A dedicated professional, Luis worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant and MRI Technician, using his caring heart and sharp mind to help others heal.
He had a unique love for collecting antiques, especially rotary phones and playful, silly toys — a reflection of his childlike wonder and appreciation for the past.
Luis is survived by his loving parents, his devoted sister, and countless family and friends who were blessed by his warmth, laughter, and light.
Heaven is more than a reward; it’s the fulfillment of God’s promise to His people. It’s where all pain, fear, and sorrow finally lose their grip. It’s peace that never fades, love that never ends, and joy that never ceases. Remembering this makes losing him a little more bearable, and it is what we will hold onto whenever we feel like falling apart.
Luis’s memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved him — a reminder to stay curious, be kind, and never lose that spark of wonder he carried so effortlessly.
