Our beloved Felipe Estigo Alcaide affectionately known as "Tatay, Grandpa or Lolo”, passed away on December 16, 2023. Born in Pangasinan, Philippines on June 25, 1928. He was a proud Philippine Scout, US Army veteran serving during World War II. As a grandfather, father, and husband he had such an impactful role when it came to involving himself with his family. His passion for helping others touched everyone and his passion for his family was remarkable.
He is survived by his wife Lorenza Alcaide, 11 children: Pilar Camat, Remy Ruiz, Marlyn Narcida, Nida Picardal, Bert Alcaide, Sann Nigh, Renato Alcaide, Meliza Camat, Ramil Alcaide, Manny Alcaide, Ruzty Alcaide; 28 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren and brother Teopilo Alcaide. His family finds comfort in remembering the times spent with him most importantly his endless love for all. Felipe was truly one of a kind and will be missed by everyone.
As we remember Felipe Estigo Alcaide, let us honor his memory by emulating his virtues. Let us be selfless in our giving, loving in our actions, and wise in our words. Let us cherish our families as he did, with every fiber of our being.
