Deborah Ann Hughes was born in 1952 to parents Tom and Julie Hughes. She was the second oldest of 5 total siblings. How ironic that Debbie had 5 children herself. Janette and Tim Holloway, John Gardener, and identical twin boys Nicholas and Nathan Hughes. She was born and raised in Riverside CA, specifically Rubidoux where she attended Rubidoux high school. The Lord would have it be her final resting place as well. She ended up passing on April 24, 2023 at Riverside Community Hospital. She lived a life devoted to motherhood. That was her full time job as she helped raise all 5 of her children. She was an amazing cook being raised herself by a grandmother and mom with Mexican roots. The kids loved her homemade taquitos the most. At the age of 55 she suffered a debilitating stroke that left her paralyzed and bed ridden. Debbie was a fighter though. She lived another 15 years where she came to know the Lord Jesus through the love and ministry of her twin boys who became pastors, Nicholas and Nathan Hughes. Debbie passed into eternity at the age of 70 years old. She is now more alive and more home than she’s ever been. Her kids will carry her life and legacy for the rest of their days. Her memorial service is Friday May 12, 2023 at noon at Rubidoux Mortuary. All are welcome. The family would love to see you.
