Colleen Latsko Obituary

Colleen Anne (Dixon) Latsko, of Highland, CA, passed away at her home on January 16th, 2021 at the age of 69.

 

Colleen was born in San Diego, CA to Royce and Josephine (Silverman) Dixon on June 5th, 1951. She grew up in Garden Grove, CA, and after graduating high school she attended Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, CA. She married her beloved husband John Latsko on September 6th, 1974 in Reno, NV, and they lived in San Francisco and North Carolina before settling in Southern California.

 

Colleen worked as a Monitor Technician for Riverside Community Hospital for the last 25 years.  She was involved in ministry at St. Adelaide’s Catholic Church in Highland, CA as a catechist for over 20 years. She was also involved in many other charitable works and was an advocate and activist for Social Justice.

 

Colleen loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was a lifelong learner and avid reader. She also enjoyed travel, outdoors, roller coasters, and good conversation.

 

Colleen is preceded in death by her parents. 

 

Colleen is survived by husband of 46 years John Latsko; son Casey Latsko of East Brunswick, New Jersey; daughter Lauren Latsko (Tim Kluge) of Hillsboro, OR; sisters Kathleen Ragland of Bellingham, WA, and Eileen Millspaugh of La Palma, CA; brothers Michael Dixon of Cathedral City, CA, Anthony Dixon of Temecula, CA, and Patrick Dixon of New York; grandsons Theodore Latsko and Wesley Latsko of East Brunswick, New Jersey; many beloved nieces and nephews; and countless friends.

 

Rosary and Mass will begin at 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 27th at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery in Colton, CA.

 

Arrangements are by Rubidoux Mortuary.
