CONNIE DUENEZ Obituary

Connie Duenez, a beacon of love and laughter, left our world on January 27, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on March 21, 1954, in Riverside, CA, where she also peacefully passed, Connie lived a life marked by generosity and humor.

Connie's early years were spent in the sunny streets of Rubidoux , where she attended Rubidoux High School. She blossomed into a caring individual who valued family above all else. After graduation, Connie dedicated her life to creating a warm and welcoming home, embodying the role of a homemaker with grace and dedication. She transformed the mundane into the extraordinary, filling her home with the aroma of home-cooked meals and the sound of constant laughter.

Those who knew Connie were touched by her loving nature. She had a remarkable talent for making every person she met feel like the most important person in the world. Her kindness was not just a trait but a way of life that influenced all her interactions. She was the heart of her family, a source of joy and comfort to her son, Alex Gonzalez, and her grandsons and great grand baby and her sister  Juanita Herrera, and a beloved auntie to her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, who will deeply miss her.

Connie's humor was a gift that she shared generously, bringing lightness to even the heaviest of moments. Her laughter was infectious, and her ability to find humor in the everyday will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. She had the rare quality of being both funny and kind, ensuring that her jokes never came at the expense of others.

As a homemaker, Connie was involved in her community, often lending a hand or a listening ear to those around her. Her home was a hub of activity, a place where friends and family gathered, drawn by her warmth and generosity. She was the glue that held her family together, and her presence was a constant in the lives of those she loved.

Connie Duenez's legacy is one of love, laughter, and selfless giving. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will continue to inspire and guide her family and friends. Connie's memory will be cherished, her stories retold, and her laughter will echo in the memories of those who loved her. As we say goodbye, we take solace in the joy she brought to our lives and the countless ways she made our world a better place
