Rene Jimenez Obituary

Rene, whose laughter built bridges just as sturdily as his hands did, left us on February 18, 2024. Born January 28, 1988 in the sunny embrace of Los Angeles, Rene was the kind of person who could find humor in the nuts and bolts of life, much like the structures he skillfully crafted as a Construction Engineer. Rene was the beloved son of Serafin and Josefina, a brother who always kept Sandra in stitches, and the world's coolest dad to his two adoring children, Evelyn and Eddie. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he crafted a world of joy and laughter for them, as sturdy and welcoming as the buildings he built.

In the world of construction, Rene was known for his ability to hammer away problems and smooth over the roughest of blueprints. His colleagues often said that Rene could make even a two-by-four chuckle. He was always ready with a joke to lighten the load or a clever solution to a complex problem.

And let's not forget his epic love affair with chicken wings; he was a connoisseur who tackled every flavor with the bravery of a knight facing a dragon.

Rene's interests weren't confined to the great outdoors; he was a movie buff who could always be counted on to deliver the punchline at just the right moment. His children knew that a day with Dad meant adventure, laughter, and learning the fine arts of being a bad ass, which Rene had down to a science.

To say Rene will be missed is an understatement. He was the life of the party, even when there wasn't a party. So, as we say goodbye to Rene, let's honor his memory by living as he did – with a joke on our lips, a song in our hearts
