Infant Loss is a difficult and devastating event for families, and many families are not aware of all their options for services. Infant services are available for children up to two years of age. Below is some information for families options for Infant Burials and Cremation, as well as charities that can help assist families in need to aid:

BURIAL OPTIONS:

Burial services for infants are available with many casket and personalized merchandise options. When scheduling for Infant Burial families need to verify with the cemetery of choice the vault options, as some cemeteries will have a vault/casket combo they require to be used. Infant burials are offered with a discounted rate and will average $3000 - $5000 depending on the merchandise selected by the family.

CREMATION OPTIONS:

For infant cremations, families can still choose to have services before or after cremation. For Low income families with infant loss over 20 weeks the county has the Indigent cremation program to assist with costs. You can find more information on our Indigent Cremation Page.

Infant cremation averages $600 - $1500 depending on merchandise selected by the family.

PERSONALIZED KEEPSAKES:

Families can request to have hand and foot prints on file, or provide copies received from the hospital for customized urns jewelry and other keepsakes.
